There are so many wonderful people in this world; all you fans who have sent me postcards from around the world, thank you! The calls of support during my recent tragedy helped me pull through, and my nails are now doing well and recovering nicely. But though dear Blinky, the littlest nail of all, is only a memory now, she lives on in our hearts and our memories.
So many people have not only shown me the stars, but held me up so that I could touch them. The one, though, who has stood beside me in both good times and bad, is my cat, Rikki.
Before you came into my life, Rikki, I didn't truly know love. Or hunger. Or cat hair. Or being pounced upon while sleeping. Or those delightful odors.
