Netscape Mail Setup

You will need the following information to complete the setup of Netscape Mail:
·A Copy of Netscape Version 4.7x
·An Account with Mbay.Net
·Your Mbay.Net username and password

First, run Netscape. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences as shown in the picture below

In the preferences window that pops up, select Mail & Newsgroups. Choose the sub catagory named Indentity.
Here you will input your personal information such as your name and email address.
Use the image below as an example

Next, you want to select the Mail Servers sub catagory.
Here you will add a new POP mail server and call it mail.mbay.net
The server type should be POP3. Make sure to enter your username in all lower case
You can select the option "remember password" if you do not wish to type it in each time.
You will then need to enter the outgoing mail server name as mail.mbay.net
Use the following image as a guide.

Click the OK button when you are done. Netscape is now set up to do mail.
