MBAY Services

Monterey Bay Internet provides local dial-up to the Monterey and Salinas calling areas. K56flex and ISDN connections are available in all areas, and included with all dialup accounts.

We offer different levels of connectivity to suit both the home and the business user. We are proud to offer the following services:

Dialup Internet Accounts (56Kflex & ISDN) - $18.95/month

Our personal accounts are designed with the home user or the small office in mind. Starting at $18.95, you get an internet account (PPP connection), storage area for a personal World Wide Web page. This account allows both 56K modem connections and 64K ISDN connections. There is no limit on when you can connect or for how long, as long as you are actively using your connection. Our personal accounts come with five (5) Megabytes of storage (additional disk space is available for a nominal charge). This account gives your full access to the internet including the WWW, gopher, USENET news, E-mail, telnet, ftp, and any other TCP/IP application.

128K Dialup ISDN Accounts - $37.90/month

If you have an ISDN line, this is the account that you need to experience the full performance of your line. This account has all of the features listed above, but allows you two use both ISDN channels to connect at the same time, for a combined speed of 128Kbps to the Internet.

Full Time Internet Accounts (56Kflex)

Our full-time accounts are designed more for the business user who is interested in full time connectivity to the internet, but not ready for the cost of higher speed connections. These accounts include a dedicated line and a 56Kflex modem in our office. Centrex lines are available in some areas to avoid metered business line costs. A good example of a use for a full-time 56Kflex line would be a MS-Mail-SMTP gateway for a company's LAN. Contact us for more information.

DSL - Everywhere

< We are now offering DSL Services in areas of Southern Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Luis Obispo Counties. Other areas are available by request. We offer services with NewEdge Networks and Pacific Bell. We offer the full range of frame relay services, from 56K to T-1 (1.544 Mbps). This service is distance independent so you won't pay mileage charges as you would with a leased line. Contact us for more information and a quote.

Leased Line Services

Looking for bandwidth? The our leased line services might be just what you need. We offer everything from 56Kbps ADN leased lines to full T-1 (1.544 Mbps) lines. If your business needs this type of connectivity, please contact us.

Virtual Web hosting

This is a WWW server that would appear as www.yourcompany.com, so your company can have a presence on the Internet without the startup costs a complete server and high speed connection would cost. Prices start at $25.00 a month.

Server Colocation

We connect your server to our internal network and put it on the internet. Please contact us for more information about this service.

Mail Relay

We will deliver as many messages as you can send us in one day, for a flat fee of $25000. You don't even have to sign up in advance - just start using our mail server for relaying your messages, and we will contact you after the service is completed. Discounts are available for fixed size batches - please contact us at 831-642-6100 before starting delivery to make arrangements.

Domain Registration

For a one-time fee of $30 we register your domain and maintain it in our nameserver databases. Please be aware that the Internic Registry charges a $70 fee for domain registrations and $35 a year after the first two years.
