God is everywhere and we in Him

The whole creation is in God, and he is acting, endlessly over it and through it

Lord, we want to be in your presence, praising and giving you thanks, not simply asking your favor.

You are present in large as well as in small details, not as a spectator but as an actor. You are present right now in what we are doing, and you will be present in all the instants of the day.

We cannot explain, or imagine, your presence and action (Psalm 139:1-12). You fill the whole creation, without being limited by it. You are not "in front" of us nor are we "in front" of you; but, by your immanence, we and the whole creation are as if "submerged" inside you: In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). And we know that your own divine Being is with us, with all your Power, Wisdom, Love and Kindness.

That is why nothing, even the smallest thing, escapes from your presence; everything is under your control, although this doesn't mean that you intervene necessarily in each happening. What a joy and pleasure to be aware that You are always "here," so "close," and will be the whole day! And, if I'd forget you, you don't forget me.

You are the base of everything which is in the universe, and nothing exists but by You. Everything leads to you. Our being and our life arise from you, and the last aim of our existence is communion with you. Our life is centered in you.

You are, Lord, the meaning of our being; you are the most intimate thing of our life. We are not in the world to have cars, or houses, or other material things; not even to have loved ones at our side, much less to have a life without pain and suffering. All this is secondary. You, Lord, are the supreme reason of our existence.

It is not too much, but just fair and reasonable, to live for the One from whom everything that we are comes, and by whom is everything that exists.
